Bhisho is the capital city of the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It is located in the eastern part of the province, about 100 kilometers northwest of East London. Bhisho is home to the Eastern Cape Provincial Government and is a major center of administration and politics in the province. The city is also a major transportation hub, with the N2 national road running through it. Bhisho is home to several schools, a hospital, and a number of small businesses. The area is well-connected by major roads and has a good public transportation system, including both buses and trains. There are also several recreational facilities in the area, including parks and sporting facilities.
