Allanridge

Allanridge is a town located in the Lejweleputswa District Municipality of the Free State province in South Africa. According to my sources, Allanridge was established in the early 1960s as a residential area for employees of the nearby Hlobane Colliery. The town is located near the Vaal River, about 95 km northwest of the city of Welkom.

The population of Allanridge is not readily available, but it is likely a small town. Allanridge may be known for its coal mining industry and the Hlobane Colliery, which is one of the main economic drivers in the area. The nearest towns to Allanridge are Welkom, Hennenman, and Virginia.

It is not clear what specific places of interest or unique features Allanridge has. However, the Free State province of South Africa is known for its beautiful landscapes, including rolling hills, grassy plains, and forests. The province is also home to a number of nature reserves and parks, such as the Golden Gate Highlands National Park and the QwaQwa National Park. It is possible that Allanridge is located near some of these natural attractions.
